Post Industrial Waste to Primary Healthcare Centres

Life CMF

A concept proposal for a comprehensive healthcare centre, Life CMF, is built out of discarded shipping containers that are converted into healthcare pods. Containers are modified to form four different pod types based on the location of doors and windows. The pods are customised to adapt to several functions, including screening, lab testing, diagnostics, treatment, isolation, and consultation. The pods are assembled to create a community facility that can grow and expand as per evolving requirements. The pods can be airlifted and deployed to different regions, making them an especially effective healthcare solution for emergency situations, including disaster-struck regions and war zones.
