Deeksha Gulati joined a panel discussion at the Smart Office India Summit 2026 hosted by Commercial Design India and ITP Media Group, on ‘Bridging the Gap Between Global Standards and Local Realities’.
She shared insights on designing for rapidly urbanising cities where space is often limited. Adding that the goal is not to fit more into less, but to make spaces work smarter—flexible, multifunctional environments that adapt and outperform rigid planning models designed purely for maximum occupancy.
She also advocated looking beyond the visual outcomes of international workplaces and instead adopting the underlying principles of global standards such as adaptability, well-being, efficiency, and user-centric design.
