Heena Bhargava has been shortlisted for the Wade Excellence Award in the Most Sustainable Design category for her work on Mohalla Clinics. The Award recognises women who have made significant contributions through conscious design in the fields of architecture, interior design, art, and construction.
Recognised for their sustainability, the Mohalla Clinics is a prototype of primary health centres built from repurposed shipping containers. The prefabricated nature of the clinic allows for greater quality control and minimises waste and pollution generated by on-site construction.
