Announcing the Rebirth of the Oberoi Grand

Three Sixty - Three Degrees | Kolkata

Three Sixty-Three Degrees at the Oberoi Grand, Kolkata, was designed to announce the redevelopment of the iconic hotel to the public. The design of the restaurant, therefore, focuses on balancing the hotel’s rich legacy that dates back to the 1800s with contemporary flair, using modern tooling techniques to reference traditional expression. Elements derived from proportioning systems used previously in the hotel, traditional wainscots and ceiling vaults are coupled with a striking composition of artwork, creating a unique reinterpretation of the art and architecture of Kolkata.
